
Eagles Fall to No. 13/10 Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Boston College suffered an 88-66 setback to No. 13/10 Ohio State on Thursday evening at Value City Arena.Â
The Eagles fall to 2-2 after four games, while the Buckeyes improve to 2-1.Â
Three players scored in double figures, with T'yana Todd netting a season-high 16 points and three rebounds. The sophomore guard hit three of her four field goals from outside the arc, and shot 5-of-6 from the line.Â
Teya Sidberry scored 14 points and corralled a season-best eight off the glass, while collecting a team-best three steals. Andrea Daley also scored 14 points (12 in the second half) on 5-of-10 shooting.Â
BC started the game 3-of-5 from the field, including back-to-back layups from Sidberry. However, OSU capitalized on the Eagles' mistakes and shot over 75 percent in the first quarter to take a commanding lead.
Ohio State finished the first half hitting nine of its last 11 shots to stretch the advantage going into the break. The Buckeyes stayed ahead the rest of the way for the win.
Boston College continues the road swing on Sunday when it faces Providence in Rhode Island at 2 p.m. on FloSports.Â
