Prince Aligbe (15 pts/10 reb) and Quinten Post (17 pts/10 reb) each log double-doubles
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. --Â Prince Aligbe and Quinten Post each logged double-doubles as Boston College used a second half surge to beat Richmond, 68-61, on Wednesday night. Â With the win, the Eagles move to 3-0 on the season.

The second of two Mason Madsen free throws made it 28-27 with 2:41 to play in the half.  Richmond would push its lead back to seven points, but Donald Hand Jr.'s 3-pointer as time expired made it a 34-30 game at the break.
The Eagles and Spiders traded baskets through the first three minutes of the second half, before a 10-2 run gave BC the lead for good. Â A Madsen 3-pointer with 13:58 to play made it 46-40. Â An Aligbe putback with 2:53 to go gave BC its largest lead of the night - 10 points - at 64-54.
Richmond would cut it to five with 1:30 left, but Jaeden Zackery washed the Spiders out with his turnaround fadeaway in front of the Eagles' bench with 24 ticks left.
A stout defensive effort in the second half proved to be the difference in the game. Â BC held Richmond to 37.0% shooting from the floor and 27 points over the final 20:00 of play. Â The Spiders entered tonight's game averaging over 90 points per games and nearly 52% shooting from the floor.
Madsen came off the bench to score nine points and grab four rebounds. Â Devin McGlockton added eight points and eight rebounds to go with a blocked shot. Â BC would make nearly 39% from the perimeter (7-18) and 90% (17-19) from the foul line.
