BOSTON COLLEGE VS. RICHMONDÂ - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game marks the fifth meeting between the two schools.
- Boston College is 1-3 all-time versus Richmond.
- The lone win came on Dec. 23, 2017 - 78-73 at home in overtime.
- Head coach Earl Grant is 0-1 all-time versus Richmond.Â
BOSTON COLLEGE VERSUS THE ATLANTIC 10
- Boston College is 36-40 against Atlantic 10 opponents.
- BC could potentially play two Atlantic 10 opponents this season.  Loyola Chicago is in the field of next week's National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City.
- Last year, the Eagles won a pair of matchups against A-10 teams.  BC downed George Mason, 71-56, in the Paradise Jam opener. The Eagles handled Rhode Island, 53-49, at home on Nov. 27, 2022.

LAST TIME OUT: ROAD VICTORY AT THE CITADEL
- Jaeden Zackery poured in a career-high 21 points as BC earned its first true road win of the season - 75-71 - at The Citadel.
- Five BC players reached double-digits in the scoring column, including a career-high 14 points off the bench for Donald Hand Jr.
- The Eagles trailed by three at the half and by as many as six points with 16:36 to play; BC outscored the Bulldogs, by 10 (37-27) down the stretch.

CAN'T KNOCK THE HUSTLE
- Boston College is 1-0 this year, 7-1 in 2022-23 and 9-2 since Feb. 21, 2022 when Jaeden Zackery scores at least 15 points.
- Zackery tallied a career-high 21 points in nearly 39 minutes of play at The Citadel on Nov. 10.
- Trailing by six with 16:36 to play, he scored 10 of his 21 points, while also tallying two assists and two steals down the stretch.
- The junior playmaker made 8-of-12 shots from the floor, including 1-of-3 from the perimeter and 4-of-5 from the FT line.
- When Zackery goes to the free throw line at least five times, BC is 1-0 this year, was 7-2 in 2022-23, and is 10-3 all-time.
- Zackery registered two games with at least 11 points, seven assists, and four steals during the 2022-23 season.
- There were 86 11/7/4 performances last season - Zackery was one of four players nationally to do it twice.

A HELPING HAND FOR 2023-24
- Donald Hand Jr. came off the bench to score a career-best 14 points in a win at The Citadel on Nov. 10.
- Hand - who missed much of the 2022-23 season due to injury - made 5-of-11 shots (2-5 3FG) in 26 minutes off the bench.
- In the season opener against Fairfield, Hand saw 18 minutes of play, scoring nine points on 3-of-7 shooting from 3-point land.
- He added four rebounds, two assists, and a steal in his first game action in nearly a year.
- Last year, Hand Jr. tore his ACL after :37 of play in the first half vs. Detroit Mercy - game two of the season - on Nov. 11, 2022.
- After successful surgery on Nov. 30, 2022, the 6-5 guard relentlessly attacked his rehabilitation.
- Despite being fully cleared for action during this past summer, Hand did not play in the Eagles' three-game European tour.
STRONG SECOND HALF FOR McGLOCKTON AT THE CITADEL
- Devin McGlockton scored all 12 of his points in 18 minutes of play in the second half at the Citadel.
- Boston College is 7-3 all-time when the versatile sophomore reaches double-digits in the scoring column.
- He made 6-of-7 shots from the floor, while grabbing two rebounds and tallying an assist, a steal, and a blocked shot.
- McGlockton is connecting on nearly 77% of his shot attempts through two games (10-of-13).
- Thr 6-7 post presence is averaging 2.0 blocked shots per game in nearly 30 minutes of playing time.
- For his career, BC is 13-4 when he blocks at least one shot, 8-0 when he blocks at least two, and 10-4 when he plays 20+ min.
QP POURS IN CAREER-HIGH 31 VS. FAIRFIELD
- Quinten Post poured in a career-high 31 points in Boston College's season opening win over Fairfield.
- Post was 11-of-14 from the floor, including 5-of-6 from 3FG, and 4-of-5 from the FT line.
- The 7-footer added 11 rebounds and a career-high four blocked shots in 29 minutes of play.
- He is the first Boston College player since Ky Bowman (37 vs. FSU; Jan. 20, 2019) to score at least 30 points in a game.
- It was the highest point total by a BC player in a season opener since Troy Bell had 31 vs. St. Peter's on Nov. 19, 2000.
- Since 1996-97, there have been eight occasions where a BC player registered a double-double with at least 30 points.
- Additionally, since 1996-97, there have been a total of 102 games where a player tallied at least 30 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Only 10 have done it in 29 minutes of game action or less.
HARRIS HEADS TO THE HEIGHTS
- Boston College welcomes Claudell Harris Jr. as a transfer from Charleston Southern.
- Nicknamed "MJ," Harris will have two seasons of eligibility with the Eagles beginning in 2023-24.
- Harris shined for CSU for two seasons, earning All-Big South second team honors as a sophomore a season ago.
- The 6-3 guard averaged 17.5 points per game last year - the second-best scoring mark in the Big South.
- Harris scored in double figures in 28 of 30 games for the Buccaneers in 2022-23 - including two consecutive 30-point games. Â
- He scored at least 20 points on 14 occasions and also connected on three or more 3-pointers in 14 of CSU's 30 contests. Harris spent two seasons at Charleston Southern and was named to the 2021-22 Big South All-Freshman Team, averaging 10.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 31 games played (14 starts) in his first collegiate season.
POST TABBED AS PRESEASON ALL-ACC SELECTION; EAGLES PICKED TO FINISH 12TH
- Quinten Post was named to the 2023-24 Preseason All-ACC second team.
- Post is the first Boston College player to earn preseason honors from the ACC since 2018-19 (Ky Bowman).
- The 7-footer is the ACC's seventh-best returning scorer (15.1) and holds its fourth-best FG% mark (.539) among returners.
- Boston College was tabbed to finish 12th in the ACC by a vote of local, regional, and national media.
