Eagles Place Sixth at ACC Championships

Emma Tavella places 21st overall, while four other Eagles finish top 50
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Boston College Women's Cross Country placed sixth overall at the 2023 ACC Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Florida on Friday morning at Apalachee Regional Park.
Emma Tavella placed 21st overall to lead the Eagles on the day, finishing with a time of 20:24.2.
A trio of Eagles finished within three seconds of each other. Freshman Natalie Millerova crossed the finish line in 41st place, with a time of 20:52.8. Lily Flynn finished quickly after, placing 42nd (20:53.5), while Molly Hudson was 44th overall (20:55.0).
Roshni Singh was the final scorer for the Eagles, placing 47th overall with a time of 20:57.5. Sarah Flynn came in at 61st with a time of 21:15.4, while Ella Fadil (21:35.5), Ellie Buckley (21:42.3), Molly FitzPatrick (22:10.0), and Anna Robinson (22:14.4) rounded out the group of Eagles who competed in the six-kilometer course.
As a team, Boston College placed sixth overall, compiling 183 points. This is Boston College's best finish at the ACC Championships since 2021, when the Eagles also placed sixth.
North Carolina State (37) took home the team title, followed by Notre Dame (80), Virginia (82), Syracuse (167), and North Carolina (172) to round out the top-five.
