
Eagles Ready for NCAA Cross Country Championships

BC aims for first national title in program history
COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 28 Boston College Women's Cross Country team is set to compete in its final cross country race this season, competing at the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championships in Columbia, Missouri, on Saturday, November 22. The women's 6k championship will be run on the Gans Creek Cross Country Course, beginning at 10:20 a.m. EST on ESPNU.
The Eagles are coming off a Northeast Regional Championship last week, their first since 2006. BC scored 60 points in the team win, led by runner-up Imogen Gardiner, who finished the 6k championship in 19:53.8. Ella Fadil (19:56.2), Kyra Holland (20:19.4), Molly FitzPatrick (20:27.0), and Elizabeth Barlow (20:31.2) all collected All-Region honors as well to guide BC to the championship and punch their ticket to Columbia.
At last year's NCAA Championships, BC finished in 29th place overall. Abby Lewis is the only member of this year's team to compete in the 2024 championships, finishing 187th in 21:05.5.
