
Eagles Compete at the Arturo Barrios Invitational

Men's Cross Country places 13th overall
COLLEGE STATION, Texas. — Boston College men's cross country competed at the Arturo Barrios Invitational in College Station, Texas this morning at Dale Watts Cross Country Course.Â
Steven Jackson finished 50th overall to lead the Eagles. He clocked a time of 24:13.9, which beat his previous personal record that he set at the Battle in Beantown earlier in the season.Â
A trio of Eagles finished within less than 10 seconds of each other. Peter Fox crossed the finish line in 63rd place, with a time of 24:23.9. Andrew Healey was three seconds behind, placing 68th (24:26.2), while John Garvey was 83rd overall (24:32.3). Â
Eero Helenius was the final scorer (24:50.2, 125th), running in a pack with BC's Sam Ellis (24:58.4, 143rd) and Nick Loffredo (25:13.4, 177th). Friend Weiler (25:19.9) and Aidan Brancaccio (26:37.0) rounded out the group of Eagles who competed today.Â
As a team, Boston College placed 13th overall, compiling 385 points. Tulane (103) won the team title, followed by Indiana (113), Incarnate Ward (188), Texas A&M (192), and South Dakota State (209) to round out the top-five.
