Jackson Sets Facility Record as BC Hosts Eagle Elite Invitational
January 20, 2023 | Men's Track & Field
BOSTON – Boston College hosted their first ever indoor track meet at the TRACK at new balance today in the Eagle Elite Invitational. The world-class facility the Eagles now call home is designed to help athletes break records - which is exactly what Steven Jackson did in his first appearance since December 3.
Jackson broke the facility record in the mile run with a time of 4:01.79, which is also a new personal best for the Junior. He wasn't the only Eagle to find success however - as Taylor Henry (200m), Max McQuide (400m), Damon Frabotta (400m), Friend Weiler III (800m), Eddie Kelly (800m), Cruz Brown (mile), and Andrew Healey (3000m) all walked away with top-three finishes.
