Eagles and Irish Clash Friday Night on ACC Network

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College travels to South Bend, Indiana for an ACC battle against Notre Dame on Friday night at 6 p.m., which will air nationally on ACC Network.
SCOUTING THE FIGHTING IRISH
• Notre Dame enters the matchup at 4-3-1 overall and 1-2-0 in the ACC
• The Fighting Irish is coming off an 8-0 home victory over Kalamazoo on Tuesday as eight different players found the back of the net
• ND fell 1-0 at home to North Carolina in conference play last Saturday
• Paddy Burns leads the team in both goals (4) and points (8), while KK Baffour ranks second in scoring with seven points
• Bryan Dowd has played all but 45 minutes in net with a 4-3-1 record, 1.20 goals against average and .690 save percentage
SERIES HISTORY
• Boston College is 4-10-2 against the Fighting Irish as the schools head into the 17th all-time meeting in series history
• Last year, the schools drew 1-1 in Newton as Boston College played a man up for 75 minutes but had to settle for a point
