
Eagles To Host Duke In ACC Home Opener

BC gets set for their first home ACC matchup as they sit at 11-3 on the season
CHESTNUT HILL– Boston College, who sits at 11-3 on the season will host the Duke Blue Devils on Sunday at 1 P.M at the Margot Connell Center and the match will also be available on stream on ACC Network.Â
The Eagles So Far...Â
BC is now 11-3 on the season and coming off a tough 3-2 loss on Wedensday evening to Syracuse. This past weekend they also participated in the St. John's Invitational in Queens where they went 1-2 with a win against Columbia and losses against Middle Tennessee and St. John's. Against the Orange, the Eagles played well and were able to rally down from 2-1 to force a fifth set but came up just short at the end when Syracuse was finally able to string together two straight points to win the set 19-17 and the match. Jenna Pollock and Alayna Crabtree led the way for BC as they each posted 12 kills, Crabtree also added 11 digs and two service aces while Pollock had four digs and six total blocks.Â

BC is 3-22 all time vs Duke however the Eagles did win the two sides most recent match on November 13, 2021 when they won 3-1. Duke is currently 9-2 on the season coming off a 3-0 win against Harvard this past Saturday. The Blue Devils will also take on Syracuse tomorrow at 12:00 p.m.Â
