Muzzy Donohue shoots a 1-under par 215 for the 54-hole tournament
USAFA, Colo. -- Boston College closed out the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational going 1-under par as a team, en route to an eighth place finish. The team leaderboard was tightly bunched. BC finished with a 54-hole total score of 874 - two shots out of seventh place, six out of fifth, and 13 out of third.
For the second straight tournament, Muzzy Donohue was BC's top finisher. Donohue tied for 19th place, going 1-under for the three rounds of competition (73-71-71=215). Nick Cummings tied for 45th place, firing an even-par total of 216 (74-70-72=216) - including the low round of the tournament for the Eagles - a second round 70 (-2).
Ben Hong (75-74-73=222) tied for 45th place, improving his score in each of the three rounds of play. Mac Lee (74-77-73=224) tied for 54th place and Mac Bredahl (79-76-71=226) tied for 71st.
For the tournament, BC ranked third among the field in par 3 scoring (3.13, +8) and fourth in par 5 scoring (4.78, -13).
