The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at one of golf's most spectacular landscapes
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's golf team heads to the Georgetown Intercollegiate at Liberty National in Bayonne, N.J.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament begins on Monday, Oct. 10 with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and continuous play through the second round. The third and final round will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
Widely regarded as one of the most visually stunning golf landscapes in the world, Liberty National's 18-hole Championship Golf Course reflects the detailed expertise of 1992 U.S. Open Champion Tom Kite and renowned golf course architect Bob Cupp, who collaborated on the design. Kite & Cupp's parkland links style layout of Liberty National is dramatic and yet traditional, taking into account the site's cultural heritage, aesthetic principles, and elements of light and shadow. Golfers enjoy magnificent views of the Statue of Liberty, the New York Harbor, Manhattan Skyline, and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge.
