BC to Host 7th Annual Big 10/ACC Challenge

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College will host the 7th annual ACC/Big 10 Challenge this weekend, with action beginning Friday at 3:05 when Duke plays Northwestern. The No. 14 Eagles (1-1, 0-0) will play No. 4 Maryland (2-0, 0-0) on Friday night at 6:05, and will follow up with top-ranked Northwestern on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles went 2-0 in the challenge last year, taking down Maryland 3-2 and Northwestern 2-1.

Friday's contest will mark the 18th matchup between the Eagles and Terps, with Maryland holding a 14-3 all-time advantage. The two teams have split the last two years, and are 2-2 against each other since 2017. The Eagles will look to win their third straight game against Northwestern, while the Wildcats lead the all-time series 10-4.

All games this weekend will be at the Field Hockey Complex on Boston College's Newton Campus, and will be broadcasted on ACC Network Extra. Sunday's game between Northwestern and BC will air on the ACC Network.
