
Boston College Tops Northeastern For Road Win

The Eagles picked up a 4-1 win at Parsons Field on Sunday afternoon.
BROOKLINE, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team earned a 4-1 win at Northeastern on Sunday afternoon at Parsons Field. Four different Eagles scored in the hard-fought victory.
BC took a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute but the Huskies equalized 15 minutes later. The Eagles, though, regained a 2-1 lead before half time and struck again in the 79th and 81st minute for the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- 13' | Emily Sapienza came down the right side of the box and then cut in before sending a shot low past the keeper to the far left post.
- 28' | Vivian Akyirem took a shot with her left foot from the left side off of an assist from Jessie Hunt.
- 42' | Taking a feed from Riley Kerber, Andi Barth broke in on goal and beat the keeper through the legs for a 3-1 lead.
- 79' | Sam Smith earned and then converted the penalty kick with a high shot.
- 81' | Éabha O'Mahony's beautiful feed to Ella Richards allowed Richards to get in on the left side of the box up from the left post and finish.
- Boston College had a 23-9 lead in shots and a 11-5 lead in shots on goal.
- Boston College had an 8-4 edge in corner kicks.
- Wiebke Willebrandt made four saves to move to 2-0-0 on the year.
