ACC Quarterfinals: Eagles, Hurricanes Square off on Thursday

BOSTON COLLEGE VS. MIAMI - ALL-TIME SERIES

Today's game marks the 55th meeting between the two schools. The two teams are tied 27-27 lead in the all-time series.
In ACC regular season play, BC is 10-18 versus the Hurricanes. In ACC Tournament play, BC and Miami are 1-1.
Earlier this season, Miami earned an 81-70 win at Conte Forum.
From 1989-2004, both schools were members of the Big East.
BC compiled a 15-6 mark versus Miami during that span.

BOSTON COLLEGE IN THE ACC TOURNAMENT

In 28 games in ACC Tournament play, Boston College is 12-16.
BC earned an 82-77 overtime win over Wake Forest yesterday. The Eagles earned a 66-46 win over Pitt in the first round.
Last year, BC lost, 86-51, to Duke in the opening round.
BC advanced to the 2018 ACC quarterfinals in Brooklyn.
In 2006, BC advanced to the ACC title game in Greensboro.
That season - the school's first-ever ACC Tourney - BC downed Maryland (80-66) and North Carolina (85-82) before falling in the championship game to Duke (78-76).

Boston College is 5-4 all-time at Barclays Center and 7-9 all-time in games played in the borough of Brooklyn.
In 2018, the Eagles advanced to the quarterfinals of the New York Life ACC Tournament at Barclays Center.
BC went 0-2 in the 2016 Barclays Center Classic MTE, falling to Kansas State and Richmond.
The Eagles lost a single game against VCU at Barclays in 2013, while downing Fordham in 2015.

Boston College's win over Wake Forest was only the second win in 19 games where the Eagles were trailing with 5:00 to go.
BC's win over Wake Forest in overtime was the first OT victory for the Eagles since Feb. 8, 2020 at Virginia Tech.
BC trailed by 10 - 65-55 - with 6:05 to play against Wake Forest before going onto win in overtime.
It was the first time BC erased a double digit deficit in the second half to win since Dec. 21, 2019 vs. Cal.
