About the Eagles
Last Time Out
Played in front of 5,937 fans, the highly-anticipated matchup between the top-two teams in the country lived up to the hype. Charlotte North led the Eagles with four goals on the day. She was one of three players with hat tricks, as Jenn Medjid and Kayla Martello scored three times. Trailing by as much as six early in the fourth period, BC came back with a chance to tie the game up in the final minute of the game. Medjid and Martello scored on back-to-back possessions to slice the lead to four. After UNC answered with a goal of its own, four different players scored over the next six minutes to bring the deficit to within one, 16-15. The Eagles were unable to tie up the contest, leading to the Tar Heels pulling out the win.
