Last Time Out
BC shook off the rust in the opening round of the WNIT with a 69-44 win over Maine. The Eagles trailed 18-10 early in the contest but outscored the Black Bears, 59-26, over the last 2.5 quarters of the game. Taylor Soule produced a game-high 21 points on 9-of-15 shooting and five rebounds. Maria Gakdeng scored 13 points, shot 5-of-7, and added three blocks. Kaylah Ivey provided a spark off the bench with a season-high 10 points and hit four of her six shot attempts. Dontavia Waggoner led the team with eight rebounds on top of five points. BC earned its first postseason win since 2010-11 and reached the 20-win mark for the second time in the last three years.
