Mitchell Finishes Sixth in 800m at ACC's

Lauren White finishes ninth in the 3,000m, Anna Oeser 12th
BLACKSBURG, Va. — Katherine Mitchell finished sixth in the finals of the 800m at the 2022 ACC Championship on Saturday. Mitchell crossed the line in a time of 2:06.63. Mitchell advanced to Saturday's 800m final with a 2:06.86 performance, winning her heat in Friday's preliminary rounds.
Lauren White led a group of Eagles in the 3,000m. White finished ninth, in a time of 9:19.85, while Anna Oeser was 12th in 9:28.75. BC's 4x400m ran a season-best time of 3:46.32, good for 11th place.
On Friday, in the qualifying heat of the 800m, Marne Sullivan ran a time of 2:09.64, placing 18th. Anna Oeser was 12th in the 5,000m, in a time of 16:37.49.
On Thursday, Boston College set a new school record in the distance medley relay. The Eagles placed fifth overall, in a time of 11:02.89. Katherine Mitchell led off, running the 1,200m leg in 3:23.41. She handed off to Kyla Krawczyk, who ran the 400m leg in 55.41, before Marne Sullivan's 2:06.99 800m leg. Lauren White finished it off for BC in the mile, with a 4:37.09 split.
In the pentathlon, Morgan Halt placed 13th overall with a personal-best score of 3436 points.
