CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The No. 1 Boston College lacrosse team begins ACC play on Wednesday at 1 p.m. against Virginia in Charlottesville.Â

Last Time Out
The Eagles dominated Boston University on Saturday, 22-6. Jenn Medjid (5 goals) was one of three Eagles who recorded a hat trick. Charlotte North registered four goals, while Belle Smith scored three times. Ten different players scored in the victory. It was the second straight time the defense has held its opponent to under 10 goals, giving BC 34 straight wins when holding an opponent to under 10.Â

Medjid has come alive in the past two games with a combined 10 goals and one assist for 11 points. She is second on the team with 11 goals and 12 points in three games.Â
Scouting UVA
The Cavaliers are 2-2 on the season after dropping two straight contests to Maryland and most recently, Princeton. Rachel Clark's 11 goals are a team-high, while Ashley McGovern is right behind her teammate with 10. Morgan Schwab leads the team in assists with eight. Her six goals and eight assists give her a team-best 14 points on the season. Ashley Vernon has started in all four contests. She has 30 saves with 47 allowed goals on the season.
