
BC Continues Scorching Start, Dominates Boston University

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. The Boston College Women's lacrosse team cruised past Boston University in a decisive 22-6 victory at the Fish Field House on Saturday.Â
The Eagles' record is now 3-0 as they head into conference play next week. BU falls to 0-2 this season.Â
Charlotte North had four goals on the day– raising her career goal tally to 284. North became the all-time ACC leader in goals after her fourth score.Â

For the second game in a row, Jenn Medjid registered five goals, leading the offense throughout the game. Smith netted three goals, and the trio of Mckenna Davis, Kit Arrix, and Caitlynn Mossman all found the back of the net twice.
Mallory Hasselbeck, Kayla Martello, Cassidy Weeks, and Annie Walsh also joined in on the scoring spree, each of them recording a goal.Â
The Eagles hit the ground running from the start: recording nine goals in the first quarter. BC continued its domination the rest of the game, outscoring the BU terriers through every quarter.Â
The win was a balanced effort, where seven different players had assists and 10 players earned goals. Rachel Hall played for 45 minutes, making two saves, while Emily English played 15.Â
The BC defense held it down, only allowing six goals. It's the 35th straight home win dating back to 2017 and the 34th straight win when holding an opponent below 10 goals. BC has outscored its first three opponents, 62-20.
BC will face Virginia in its ACC opener on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Charlottesville.Â
