Eagles Play Host to No. 13 UMass Lowell on Tuesday Night

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College hosts No. 13/14 UMass Lowell on Tuesday night at Kelley Rink in a Hockey East contest that begins at 7 p.m. The game will air live on both NESN and ESPN+ with radio coverage on WEEI 850 AM.Â
SETTING THE SCENE
• The Eagles are coming off a four-point weekend against No. 15 Northeastern, including a 3-2 home victory on Saturday night at Conte Forum
• The River Hawks (7-3-0, 4-1-0 HEA) were idle over the weekend after blanking Vermont 4-0 and 2-0 to sweep a Hockey East series in Lowell on Nov. 4-5
• UMass Lowell holds a slim 6-5-1 lead in the last 12 meetings between the schools
SERIES HISTORY
• Boston College has a 68-47-10 advantage over UMass Lowell in the all-time series heading into the 126th meeting on Tuesday
• The River Hawks swept the 2021-22 regular season series, winning 4-2 at Tsongas Center on Nov. 13, 2021 before pulling out a 3-2 win on Feb. 4, 2022 on the Heights

• On Saturday, senior captain Marshall Warren broke a 2-2 tie near the midway point of the third period and BC earned a 3-2 Hockey East victory at Kelley Rink
• Colby Ambrosio and Kuntar netted goals in the first period for BC, which out-shot NU 36-21 including a 26-11 advantage in the opening 40 minutes
