The Eagles outhit the Seminoles .406 to .292 to go up 1-0 in the match.Â
After dropping set two to FSU, Boston College looked to respond in set three. And respond they did indeed as they went on a 6-3 scoring run to clinch the set and go up 2-1 in the match.
In a back and forth set four, the Eagles knew they had to put the Seminoles away and avoid a fifth set, and that they did as BC won four of the final six points including another set clinching back to back kill sequence from Jenna Pollock.Â
Pollock who had one of her best matches in her young career, finished with a career-high 22 kills on a .340 hitting percentage to go along with four digs and three blocks.
