Eagles Close ACC Regular Season Friday at No. 4 Syracuse

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College travels to face No. 4 Syracuse on Friday night in upstate New York to close the ACC regular season at 7 p.m. on ACCNX.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The Eagles have five points in the Atlantic Division at 1-4-2, two points behind Clemson for fourth place in the division
• The Orange is 5-1-1 atop the Atlantic with 16 points, three clear of Louisville
• If the regular season ended today, BC would be the No. 10 seed and travel to Chapel Hill to face UNC in the ACC First Round next Wednesday
ABOUT THE EAGLES
• Boston College is coming off a 5-1 non-conference win over Endicott on Monday in its home finale at the Newton Soccer Complex
• 10 different players had at least one point for the Eagles
• Stefan Sigurdarson posted his first career hat trick on Monday in his final home game and now leads the ACC in goals (12) and points (25)
• He is third nationally in total goals and fifth in total points
• Amos Shapiro-Thompson is coming off a career-best four-point performance and ranks second on the team this season with seven points
• Brennan Klein has started nine of the team's 14 matches in net and ranks sixth in the ACC with 2.9 saves per game
