BC Ties For 10th Place at Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational

Final round shortened to nine holes; Cynthia Zhang and Canice Screene tie for 36th
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College tied for 10th at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational, held at the Lawrence C.C. in Lawrence, Kan. Â
After second round play was halted on Monday night, the field completed play on Tuesday morning and played a nine-hole final round. BC finished in a three-way tie with Washington State and UTSA with a score of 792 (324-311-157=792). Kent State took the team title (289-298-154=741).
Canice Screen (79-80-38=197) and Cynthia Zhang (80-76-41=197) tied for 36th place, while Stephany Kim (83-80-36=199) tied for 47th. Eubin Shim (82-78-43=203) tied for 62nd and Estelle Seon (85-77-42=204) tied for 67th.
The Eagles complete their fall slate of tournaments and return to action in the spring at the Tulane Classic in New Orleans, La. from Feb. 12-14.
