Ben Hong led BC, tying for 17th place overall
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College finished seventh overall at the Little Rock Invitational, held at the Chenal C.C. in Little Rock, Ark. BC finished the 54-hole tournament with a total score of 883 (+19), registering scores of 292, 292, and 299 for the three rounds.
Ben Hong was the team's top finisher, tying for 17th place. Hong's best round of the tournament came during Monday's second round - a 4-under 68 - as he finished with a score of 218 (76-68-74). Nick Cummings tied for 29th place, improving his score each round - 78-73-71 - to finish with a score of 222.
Muzzy Donohue tied for 33rd place, with a score of 224. Donohue shot a sizzling 5-under 67 to open tournament play. Mac Bredahl finished tied for 43rd (72-77-78=227) and Cameron Harlock was tied for 54th (77-74-80=231).
Southern Mississippi won the team title (865). BC was three strokes out of sixth place, eight out of fourth, and nine strokes out of third.
