BC Places 10th at Battle of Briar Creek in Spring Debut

Ben Hong and Cameron Harlock led the Eagles, tying for 22nd place
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College finished 10th overall at the Battle at Briar's Creek, held in Johns Island S.C. at the Golf Club at Briar's Creek. In the 2023 spring season opener, BC finished with a total score of 887, improving with each round - registering scores of 302, 295, and 290 for the the 54-hole tournament.
Ben Hong and Cameron Harlock tied for 22nd place to lead BC, with a total score of 218. Hong fired the low round of the tournament for the Eagles - a final round 67 (-5) on Tuesday. Harlock's best round was a second round 70 (-2). The second round was halted due to darkness on Monday night and completed on Tuesday morning.
Nick Cummings fired an even par 72 during the final 18 holes of competition and tied for 45th place (224). Muzzy Donohue and Mac Bredahl tied for 57th place, with a score of 230. Donohue's best score was a second round 74, while Bredahl carded a 75 during the second round of action.
