Eagles Fall to No. 10 UConn on the Road

BC and UConn will meet again tomorrow afternoon at Kelley Rink.
STORRS, Conn. – Playing a game for the first time in 35 days, the Boston College women's hockey team fell on the road at No. 10 UConn, 3-0, at the Mark Freitas Ice Forum.
UConn scored once in each period to secure the win, taking a a 1-0 lead midway through the first period.
The two teams will meet again tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Kelley Rink.

- BC now holds a 43-21-10 record in the all-time series with UConn … the Eagles are 16-10-8 at Freitas Ice Forum … head coach Katie Crowley is 36-9-7 all-time against UConn.
- UConn held the 44-20 lead in shots on goal … both teams went 0-for-4 on the power play.
- This was BC's first game in 35 days, marking the longest break between games within a season since the Eagles went 35 days between contests during the 2003-04 season (Nov. 30, 2003-Jan. 4, 2004).
- Abigail Levy finished with 41 saves for Boston College … it is the 17th time this season that Levy has recorded at least 30 saves in a game.
