- Justin Vander Baan saw a career-high 15 minutes of playing time at Pittsburgh.
- The sophomore 7-footer logged four points, two boards, an assist, and a blocked shot in the second half.
- Vander Baan was the team's primary 5-man after Quinten Post and James Karnik were each fouled out of the game.
- Gianni Thompson - in his first extended action since the Holy Cross game - knocked down two 3FG vs. North Carolina.
- Thompson was the first Eagle off the bench, playing 10 minutes. He scored six points and blocked a shot.
