Eagles Add Graduate Transfer Courtney Taylor

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Coming off its first-ever national championship, the Boston College lacrosse team is adding graduate student Courtney Taylor via graduate transfer. Taylor comes to Chestnut Hill from Temple University, where she spent the first four years of her career.

Taylor was named the AAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year this past season, while also being an IWLCA and Inside Lacrosse All-American.

Taylor appeared in 52 games throughout her career, scooping 139 ground balls and causing 85 turnovers. This past season, Taylor led the Owls with 67 ground balls and 42 caused turnovers. She finished the season leading the nation in ground balls and second in caused turnovers.

Last season, BC went 18-3 and took home its first-ever national championship, defeating Syracuse, 16-10.
