Stefan Sigurdarson Named to Men's Soccer All-ACC Academic Team

This marks his first All-Academic Honor.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Boston College sophomore forward Stefan Sigurdarson has been named to the Men's Soccer All-ACC Academic Team, as announced Wednesday by the conference.

Sigurdarson, a finance major, played in five of BC's six contests this season, starting all five of them. He finished second on the team in scoring with seven points on two goals and three assists, with his three assists leading the Eagles. Sigurdarson, who recorded 13 shots on the season, played 90 minutes or more in three of his five games played.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.

This is Sigurdarson's first nod to the All-ACC Academic Team.
