No. 4 Eagles to Face Fairfield in NCAA Opener

INDIANAPOLIS – The Boston College lacrosse team has been named the fourth seed in the 2021 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament, as announced Sunday night. The Eagles will host a pod of four for the first and second rounds on Friday, May 14 and Sunday, May 16.
BC will take on Fairfield in the first matchup at 1 p.m., while Umass will play Temple at 4 p.m. All games will be played at the Newton Soccer and Lacrosse Field and tickets will not be open to the public.
The Eagles are currently 13-3 with their only losses to No. 1 North Carolina and No. 3 Syracuse. Leading the way for BC are experienced attackers Charlotte North (71G, 10A) and Cara Urbank (32G, 33A). North also leads BC with 141 draw controls this season, which is the fourth-most in a single season at BC.
This is the eighth-straight NCAA Tournament for BC, dating back to 2013, while BC has made three-straight national championship games.
