Marcus Manson wins 400m hurdles in fifth-fastest time in BC history
WEST POINT, N.Y. — The Boston College men's track & field team finished its regular season at the West Point Twilight meet on Thursday evening.
Marcus Manson won the 400m hurdles in a personal-best 53.22. It also ranks as the sixth-fastest time in BC history. Khalfani Green (55.46) was fifth and Jackson Sigalove (57.75) was eighth, both posting season-best times.
Denis Gallagher posted the fifth-fastest time in BC history in the 800m, clocking 1:49.90 to finish third. Friend Weiler was sixth, in a time of 1:52.96.
Kyle Faddis was fourth in the 3,000m steeplechase in a time of 9:38.05. Steven Jackson led the BC charges in the 1,500m, clocking 3:52.74 to finish sixth, followed by Erik Linden in seventh (3:55.46). Stephen Windisch was sixth in the 400m (50.74).
In the triple jump, Avery McKenzie was third, registering a leap of 14.74m (48'4.5").
