Anna Oeser and Lauren White finish 19th and 20th respectively in the 5,000m
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Boston College finished up competition at the East preliminary of the 2021 NCAA Track & Field Championship.
Anna Oeser and Lauren White finished in 19th and 20th place, respectively in the 5,000m run. Oeser clocked a time of 16:22.89 in heat number two, while White crossed the line in 16:24.80 in the opening heat. Both Eagles placed 10th overall in their respective heats.
Sarah Flynn placed 46th in the 3,000m steeplechase in a time of 10:58.63. She placed 15th overall in her heat at the Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla.
On Thursday night, Marne Sullivan and Sorcha McAllister competed in the 800m and 10,000m, respectively. Sullivan clocked 2:09.38, good for eighth place in the opening heat of the 800m. She finished 44th overall.
McAllister crossed the line in 35:57.95, finishing 40th overall in the 10K.
