Three Earn Inside Lacrosse Midseason Honors

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Charlotte North, Cara Urbank and Belle Smith all earned Inside Lacrosse midseason honors, as announced this week.
Both North and Urbank were named Midseason All-Americans, with North on the first team and Urbank an honorable mention. Smith was named midseason rookie of the year.
North was also named to the IL Tewaaraton Watch.
North has been sensational at attack for BC, scoring 37 goals and adding five assists for 42 points on the year. She was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List and is a three-time ACC Player of the Week. A native of Dallas, North has a .627 shooting percentage and has also controlled 76 draws, which is the seventh-most in a single season at BC.
Urbank has been the quarterback of BC's high-octane offense with 34 points on 18 goals and 16 assists. In BC's 17-15 win over Duke, Urbank did it all with four goals, two ground balls, two caused turnovers and four draw controls.
Smith came in as IL's second ranked freshman has 26 points on 20 goals and six assists running on BC's first midfield line. She is tied for fifth among freshmen with 20 goals. She has had multiple points in seven of BC's nine games this season and has a .667 shooting percentage.
The Eagles take on Virginia Tech, Saturday, April 10 at 12 p.m. in Blacksburg on ACCNX.
