Jay McGillis Memorial Spring Game Set for Saturday

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College is scheduled to hold its annual Jay McGillis Memorial Spring Game on Saturday, April 24 at 11 a.m. inside Alumni Stadium.

ACC Network has live national television coverage of the game. Chris Cotter and former Boston College standout Mark Herzlich have the call on ACC Network.

At halftime, head coach Jeff Hafley and associate head coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim will present the Jay McGillis Award to the defensive back who best exemplifies the personal qualities of team dedication and leadership by example, an extraordinary competitive spirit, and personal concern for family friends and teammates. This award has been given annually since 1993.

McGillis, a starting defensive back for Boston College, passed away from Leukemia in 1992.

Saturday's game marks the 13th practice of the spring for the Eagles. BC is scheduled to finish the spring with two practices next week.

Attendance for this year's spring game will be limited to parents of student-athletes. Plans moving forward are for fans to be back at Alumni Stadium this fall.

Season tickets for the 2021 season are available. Prices for season tickets range from $99-$400, with discounts ranging up to 60% off from the previous year depending on the seat location.

Also new this year, season ticket prices for children (ages 13 and younger) in all sections, outside of those with a Flynn Fund contribution, are just $50 and with single game prices for children starting at only $10 per seat.
