North Selected as Preseason All-ACC

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The No. 12 Boston College women's lacrosse team has been picked to finish fifth in the ACC, as announced by the conference Tuesday. Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American Charlotte North was also selected as a Preseason All-ACC selection.

BC earned 29 points in the coaches' poll, trailing North Carolina, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Virginia. Last year, the Eagles finished 4-3 in a shortened season.

North comes off her first season on The Heights, leading the team in goals (23), assists (12) and points (35). North is a two-time All-ACC selection.

BC opens the season on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 12 p.m. in Chestnut Hill, Mass at the Fish Field House. All Boston College home games in 2021 will be held without fans as a result of COVID-19. Only essential game management personnel and credentialed media will be permitted to attend this season.
