Men's Track Posts Strong Performances at Army West Point

The Eagles dominated the 800m, taking five of the first six spots
WEST POINT, N.Y. — The Boston College men's indoor track & field team posted several outstanding performances in Saturday's dual meet at Army West Point.
The Eagles dominated the 800m, taking five of the first six spots. Sean Sullivan won, in a time of 1:54.57, followed closely by Denis Gallagher in second place in 1:54.81. Friend Weiler was third (1:57.36), while Colin Trigani was fifth (1:59.03) and Spencer Pett sixth (2:00.43).
BC also saw strong finishes in the mile. Steven Jackson clocked a PR en route to winning in a time of 4:15.54. John Carter was second, in a time of 4:17.97. Edward Tristine was fourth (4:22.86), followed by John Seiberlich in fifth (4:25.72) and Yahya Soliman in sixth (4:29.74).
Stephen Windisch placed second in the 400m, in a time of 52.09, followed by Jackson Sigalove in third place (52.28).
In the long jump, Tyler Heller placed third, with a leap of 6.43m (21'1.25").
BC's 4x400m relay squad of Windisch (54.49), Sigalove (52.74), Gallagher (50.24), and Sullivan (55.62) took first place in a time of 3:33.08.
Next for Boston College is the 2021 ACC Championship, held at Clemson on Feb. 26-27.
