Several Eagles earned first-place finishes at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Saturday
BOSTON – The Boston College women's indoor track and field team kicked off its 2021-2022 season at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in the BU Track and Tennis Center on Saturday, Dec. 4.

The Eagles started off the day strong with Lauren White finishing first in the mile race with a time of 4:44.64. Not far behind, Anna Oeser came in third-place with a time of 4:48.94.
In the 400m, Kyla Krawczyk came in second at 57.07, with Emma Kinney in third at 57.83. They were followed by Anna Cleary in fifth (59.83) and Kathleen Clark in sixth (1:01.24).
Gabriella Bachiochi also earned third at 1:37.48 in the 600m.
Emma Kinney set the team indoor record for the 300m with a time of 40.40, earning her a sixth-place finish.
The Eagles concluded the track events for the day with a first-place finish in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:52.15. The team included Emma Kinney, Anna Cleary, Sarah Heckel, and Kyla Krawczyk.

In the field events, Isabella Bruno placed second in the triple jump, with a mark of 11.74m, and Sophie Albright earned a fourth place finish in the high jump with a 1.65m mark.

BC is off until 2022 where they will head to the Sorlein Memorial Invite in Kingston, R.I. on Saturday, Jan 15.
