Eagles #1 in USA Lacrosse Mag Ranking

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The defending national champion Boston College lacrosse team enters the season at the top of the USA Lacrosse Magazine's Nike/USA Lacrosse Top 20.
Rounding out the top five are North Carolina, Syracuse, Northwestern and Stony Brook. BC will be taking on the rest of the top four at some point this season.
Led by Tewaaraton Award winner Charlotte North, BC finally pushed through in the national title game after three-straight runner up finishes. BC returns 89% of its scoring output from last season, only losing All-American Cara Urbank.
Earlier this fall, North (first team) was joined by Hollie Schleicher (first team), Jenn Medjid (second team), Belle Smith (second team) and Courtney Taylor (second team) as USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-Americans.
The Eagles open up the season on Saturday, February 12 at home against No. 4 Northwestern.
