No. 14 Eagles Head to Virginia for a Weekend Pair

BC takes on UVA on Friday afternoon and heads to Richmond on Sunday
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The No. 14 ranked Boston College field hockey team heads to the Commonwealth of Virginia for a pair of matches this weekend.
On Saturday, the Eagles travel to Charlottesville to take on No. 12 Virginia. The Cavaliers dropped a 2-1 overtime loss at home to No. 8 Maryland on Thursday, making them 7-4 overall and 2-1 in ACC play. The game will air live on ACC Network Extra, beginning at 1 p.m.
On Sunday, BC heads to Richmond to take on the Spiders in a non-conference matchup. The Spiders enter the weekend with a 3-8 mark - with all three victories coming in Atlantic 10 play. The game will air on ESPN+ and is set to begin at 2 p.m.
