No. 10 Eagles Set to Host Colorado College and No. 8 Denver

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – No. 10 Boston College prepares to face a pair of NCHC schools from Colorado this weekend on the Heights, hosting Colorado College on NESNplus on Friday night before playing No. 8 Denver on NESN on Saturday. SCOUTING COLORADO COLLEGE
• The Tigers enter the weekend unranked at 0-2-2 through four games
• Colorado College played a two-game series at Union last weekend, losing 2-1 on Friday before earning a 3-3 tie on Saturday
• Six different players have scored CC's six goals on the year
• Chase Foley leads the team with three points on a goal and two assists
• Dominic Basse has started all four games in net with a 1.97 GAA and a .905 SV%
• Former Michigan and Providence assistant Kris Mayotte is in his first year as the head coach of the program

• Colby Ambrosio and Patrick Giles registered the goals for the Eagles, while rookies Aidan Hreschuk and Mike Posma collected their first collegiate assists
• The following night, Boston College scored four goals in the opening 12 minutes and never looked back as the Eagles won the tournament with a 5-1 victory over Holy Cross
• Marc McLaughlin scored a pair of goals in the first period while graduate transfer Brandon Kruse and rookie Matt Argentina registered their first goals in a BC sweater

• As a junior, he closed the regular season tied with Marc McLaughlin for second in Hockey East at +17 and set career-highs with six-game assist and six-game point streaks
• He ranked 14th in the league in points per game with 19 points in 21 contests

• Marshall Warren was named the Hockey East Player of the Week last Monday (Oct. 11)
• The junior defenseman had a goal and two assists for three points in the Ice Breaker and was named to the All-Tournament Team with Marc McLaughlin
• Warren finished the weekend with 10 shots on goal and a +3 rating
• The Laurel Hollow, New York native also scored in the home opener against Northeastern, marking his first time with goals in back-to-back games

• The penalty kill was 5-for-6 last Friday against Northeastern, including a five-minute major in the first period and a 5-on-3 for 1:08 in the second period
