No. 10 Eagles Return Home to Host No. 21 UMass on Sunday

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The No. 10 ranked Boston College field hockey team hosts No. 21 Massachusetts on Sunday at the Field Hockey Complex in Newton. Game time is set for 1 p.m. and the game can be seen live on ACC Network Extra.
The Eagles and UMass face off for the 29th time in the history of the two programs. Massachusetts holds a 17-11 lead in the all-time series, but BC has captured the last two - and four of the last meetings. This past April, BC earned a 5-0 victory in Amherst during the 2021 spring season.
BC enters Sunday's game with a 7-2 overall record, including an 7-0 mark in non-conference play. The Eagles are coming off a loss at three-time defending national champion North Carolina on Friday, Sept, 24.
UMass enters the weekend with a 6-3 record and will host VCU in Amherst on Friday night before heading to Newton.
