BC Hosts UNC Friday Night, NC State Sunday in Worcester

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Boston College volleyball team is home to take on UNC Friday at 8 p.m. inside Power Gym. The Eagles' second match of a four-match homestand will take place Sunday at noon inside Blaney Gymnasium on the campus of Holy Cross in Worcester due to BC's Commencement 2020 taking place in Conte Forum that day.
BC is 12-8 overall and 2-4 in the ACC after suffering a pair of sweeps on the road last weekend at No. 3 Louisville and Notre Dame. The Eagles played the Irish tight on Sunday; falling by scores of 25-22, 25-15 and 25-23, but could not find a run to extend the match in the third.
Leading the Boston College attack is graduate outside hitter Clare Naughton with 3.49 kills per set. Sophomore outside hitter Katrina Jensen is second at 2.60. Graduate middle blocker Amaka Chukwujekwu is hitting a team-best .350 with 2.03 kills per set.
Chukwujekwu is second on the team with 0.86 blocks per set, while junior middle blocker Gabby McCaa leads the team with 0.92. On the back line, sophomore libero Anna Murphy leads the team with 3.92 digs per set.
