Eagles Play Host to Syracuse Friday Under the Lights

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College returns to the Newton Soccer Complex on Friday night when it hosts Syracuse at 7 p.m. on ACC Network Extra. BC is unbeaten (3-0-2) in five home matches during the 2021 fall season.

FUNDRAISER
• The Eagles will partner with the Go4theGoal Foundation on Friday night to raise funds and awareness for kids battling cancer in our community
• All funds raised will be used to improve the lives of kids battling cancer by providing financial assistance, funding innovative research, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, and granting personal wishes

SCOUTING THE ORANGE
• Syracuse enters the matchup with a 7-5-2 overall record and a 1-3-1 mark in ACC play
• The Orange played a scoreless draw with NC State last Friday, then beat Bucknell 4-0 on the road on Monday
• Sophomore Deandre Kerr leads the team with 19 points on eight goals and three assists, including three multi-goal games
• Graduate student Lucas Daunhauer has started nine of 14 games in net with a 5-3-1 record and three shutouts
• Ian McIntyre has accumulated 208 wins in his 22 seasons as a college head coach
