No. 12 Eagles Host a Pair of Nationally Ranked Opponents

BC set to take on No. 4 Louisville on Friday and No. 11 Saint Joseph's on Sunday
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The No. 12 ranked Boston College field hockey team returns home for a pair of matches against nationally ranked opponents.
ÂOn Friday afternoon, the Eagles host No. 4 ranked Louisville at 1 p.m. at the Field Hockey Complex in Newton. The Cardinals enter the match with an 11-2 overall record and a 3-0 mark in ACC play. UofL is one of two teams currently unbeaten in ACC play.
ÂOn Sunday, BC hosts No. 11 Saint Joseph's at noon. The Hawks enter the weekend with a 10-3 overall record, including a 4-0 mark in Atlantic 10 play. SJU plays at No. 21 Massachusetts on Friday afternoon before heading to BC.
ÂBoth matches will air live on ACC Network Extra.
ÂThe Eagles enter the weekend with a 9-3 overall record and a 1-3 mark in ACC play. BC took a pair of victories last week in Virginia. On Oct. 9, Elizabeth Warner tallied the gamewinner in a 1-0 overtime decision at No. 12 Virginia. BC closed out the weekend with a 3-0 win at Richmond on Oct. 10.
