Jay Heath leads BC in scoring and has reached double digits in the scoring column on seven occasions this season.
Last time out vs. Miami, Heath scored a career-high 25 points, connecting on five 3-pointers.
Against Louisville, Heath registered his first career 20-point performance, finishing with 20 (5-10 FG; 4-6 3FG; 6-7 FT).
He scored 17 points at N.C. State (7-15 FG; 3-6 3FG); at Minnesota, he had 16 points, knocking down four 3-pointers.
Against #3 Villanova, Heath had 16 points to go with four boards, two assists, and a blocked shot.
One of the top freshmen in the ACC a season ago, Heath was the first BC frosh since 2012-13 to lead the team in scoring.
The 6-3 guard averaged 13.1 points per game in 2019-20 and set a new BC freshman 3-pointers record, with 65 made.

KELLY AND LANGFORD, FOR STARTERS

Rich Kelly (three starts) and DeMarr Langford Jr. (four starts) have shined in games where they are among the first five.
Kelly is averaging 17.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists and is shooting better than 60% from the floor and 59% from 3FG.
The grad transfer had 16 points at Duke and a season-high 27 points last time out against Miami.
Langford Jr. - a true freshman - has posted 9.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.2 steals in four starts this season.
He registered back-to-back season-highs in the scoring column at Duke (12 points) and against Virginia (14).

START TALKING TABBS FOR COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Wynston Tabbs should be in the conversation for both ACC and National Comeback Player of the Year.
This season, Tabbs ranks first on Boston College - and 21st in the ACC - in scoring, at 13.3 points per game.
Tabbs is also 10th-best in the ACC in 3-pointers made, averaging 2.2 3FG/g.
Tabbs returned to the court after a 676-day injury layoff - one of 10 players to return in 2020-21 after a 600+ day layoff.
The Suitland, Md. native has scored in double figures in nine of the 11 games in which he has appeared this year.
He has posted two games with at least 23 points this season, including 24 points on Dec. 8 at Minnesota.
At N.C. State, Tabbs scored 12 of his team-high 18 points in the second half.
Against Rhode Island, Tabbs saw 35 minutes of action, tallying his first collegiate double-double: 16 points and 10 boards.
In 2018-19, Tabbs was one of the best young guards in the country, averaging 14.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, and 3.0 apg prior to injury.
When Tabbs was in the lineup in 2018-19, the Eagles were 10-5 - including wins over tourney teams Minnesota, Florida State.
He was named the ACC Rookie and CBS Sports/Wayman Tisdale National Freshman of the Week on Dec. 17, 2018.
Tabbs became the first freshman in BC history to score at least 15 points in each of his first three games.

CAREER NIGHT AT DUKE FOR FELDER

CJ Felder scored a career-high 24 points at Duke, making 10-of-13 field goals - including 4-of-6 from the perimeter.
The sophomore forward also corraled four rebounds - three on the offensive glass - while blocking three shots.
On the season, Felder leads Boston College in FG%, connecting on 52.5% of his shot attempts (42-80).
Through 12 games, Felder is 15-of-40 from beyond the arc, good for 37.5%. Entering the season, he was 5-of-31 from 3FG.
He ranks 71st nationally in 2-point FG%, making 27-of-40 inside the arc - good for 67.5%.
Felder also ranks third in the ACC in blocked shots, averaging 2.1 swats per contest.
He has registered new career-highs in scoring, rebounding, steals, and blocks through the first 12 games of the season.
At Minnesota, Felder pulled down a career-best 11 rebounds, narrowly missing his first collegiate double-double.

BOO FROM THE WOO - LANGFORD JR. EMERGING

DeMarr Langford Jr. set new season-highs in scoring in back-to-back contests against a pair of nationally ranked opponents.
At home against #22/21 Virginia, Langford Jr. tallied a season-high 14 points, connecting on 5-of-7 shots (1-2 3FG).
Prior to that, in his second collegiate start, he tallied 12 points, eight boards, three assists, and two steals at #21/24 Duke.
The freshman wing connected on 5-of-7 shots from the floor in 34 minutes of play at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
In 12 games, Langford Jr. is averaging close to 6.0 points and 4.0 boards while adding 1.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.
Langford Jr. - nicknamed Boo by his grandmother - is the younger brother of starting point guard Makai Ashton-Langford.
On Nov. 26 vs. Rhode Island, they became the first brothers who are Massachusetts natives to start the same game for BC.

HE JUST TOOK A DNA TEST AND TURNS OUT HE'S 100 PERCENT THAT RICH

Rich Kelly is averaging 11.1 points and 2.3 assists this season - his first in a Boston College uniform.
Through the first nine games, Kelly came off the bench and averaged 8.9 points per game - seventh-best in the ACC.
In three starts this season, Kelly is averaging 17.7 points per game, making 10-of-17 attempts from beyond the arc.
Last time out vs. Miami, the Shelton, Conn. native poured in a season-best 27 points to go with four assists.
In his first start at Duke, Kelly scored a season-high 16 points and added 10 points at home versus Virginia.
He is connecting on 42.1% (24-57) from beyond the arc and his 24 3-pointers ranks second on the team through 12 games.
He has 220 career 3-pointers - 25th-most among all active players - and is connecting from deep at a 39.1% career clip.
