Eagles Set to Host Three Team Battle in Beantown

BC, Syracuse, and Army race on Friday afternoon in Attleboro, Mass.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- On Friday, Sept. 25, the Boston College women's cross country team will host Army and Syracuse in the Three Team Battle in Beantown. The meet will take place on the Coogan Course at Highland Park in Attleboro, Mass.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the race is closed to all spectators. All runners will be required to wear masks or face coverings at all times prior to the start of the race. Additionally, team will be limited to 15 runners per race in order to comply with distancing measures.
The women's five-kilometer race will begin at 2:30 p.m., while the men's eight-kilometer race starts at 3:15 p.m. A combined men's and women's novice 5K race starts at 4 p.m.
A season ago, Boston College concluded its 2019 season by placing 20th overall at the NCAA Championship. The Eagles were one of four teams from the ACC to toe the line at NCAA's and return three scorers- Lauren White, Anna Oeser, and Sarah Flynn - from the team that competed at the national championship race.
Both BC and Syracuse ranked in the top five in the northeast in 2019, while Army checked in at 15th, on the USTFCCCA Northeast Rankings.
