Charlotte North earns the lacrosse teams' first Player of the Week nod of the season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior Charlotte North of the No. 16 Boston College women's lacrosse team has been named the ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday. The honor marks the first of the season for the Eagles.
At Boston University, North out-scored the entire Terrier offense, tallying eight goals on the day in the 16-6 decision in the Eagles' favor. She also assisted on four other Eagle goals to total 12 points in the win. 12 points marked a single-game program best for Boston College, topping the previous record of 11 set by Lauren Miller in 2001.
Through just three games in maroon and gold, the standout transfer attacker leads the team in goals (12), assists (5), points (17) and draw controls (21). Her offensive production ranks fifth in the conference, averaging 4.00 goals and 5.67 points per game.
The Eagles are back in action on the road on Friday, traveling west to take on No. 12 Southern California in Los Angeles.
