Gutstein, Anderson Named Eagles of the Week

Trent Gutstein and Susannah Anderson were named the Musco Lighting Eagles of the Week.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College sophomores Trent Gutstein and Susannah Anderson have been named the Musco Lighting Eagles of the Week for their performances over the weekend.

Gutstein earned his third consecutive top-20 finish for the ski team at the Bates Carnival, taking 18th in the slalom. The Stowe, Vt. native's second run in the slalom was the 10th-fastest time among college racers. Gutstein also placed 29th in the giant slalom to lead the team.

Anderson fired a no-hitter on Sunday against Georgetown, striking out 10 batters in the seven-inning 1-0 win. The Alexandria, Va. native threw three complete games for the Eagles on the weekend, going 2-1 with a 0.66 ERA and .66 WHIP while recording 25 strikeouts. Ove the weekend, Anderson gave up just 10 hits in 73 at bats to limit opponents to a .137 batting average while only walking four batters.
