Zion Johnson Elects to Return for Fifth Year

Two-time All-ACC OL selection returns in 2021
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College senior offensive lineman Zion Johnson announced on Sunday he will return for a fifth year to the Heights. A two-time All-ACC offensive line selection, Johnson was rated as a top-10 prospect at offensive guard by Mel Kiper in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Johnson was also invited to the Reese's Senior Bowl in January, but the Maryland native elected to return to the Eagles for one final season in 2021.

Johnson was named to the All-ACC third-team at offensive tackle in 2021. He graded out as BC's top offensive lineman in 2020 after moving from left guard to left tackle in the preseason. BC's offensive line ranked No. 21 as a group according to Pro Football Focus this season.
