Eagles Open ACC Championships Against North Carolina

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College field hockey team heads south to Chapel Hill to open the 2020 ACC Championships against North Carolina on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 4:30 p.m. at Karen Shelton Stadium. The game will be shown live on ACC Network.

What to Know
- BC opens as the seven seed after an 0-2 record in a shortened season. The Eagles' opened the season at Louisville, falling 2-1, on Oct. 4 before losing to Wake Forest, 6-2, on Nov. 1.
- Elizabeth Warner has two of BC's three goals this season. Her second came late against Wake Forest on a diving effort, which was enough to be selected as the #10 play on ESPN's SC Top 10.
- Last season, the Eagles' had unprecedented success in the ACC Tournament, defeating Wake and Virginia in route to its first ACC title game appearance in program history.
- BC faced UNC three times last season, once in the regular season, during the ACC title game and in the final four.
